It is non stop showboating by the players. I don’t care about style of play at all, it is purely the attempts to draw attention to themselves.

Every made three it is three fingers to the forehead. Every jumper it is an archer pulling an arrow. A blocked shot is a too small.

The coaches are no better. What we are up 30 with 2 to play. We gotta press to the buzzer. My oldest graduated last year and played varsity since his sophomore year. My youngest is in second and playing rec league. My daughter’s games are no better.

Sports used to be about hard work and being part of a team and working together. Now it feels like it is about showing up everyone else.

I’m sure it isn’t as bad as I’m making it out to be, but with 3 kids still playing, the games seem to get more annoying to watch every year.
