It's nuts. I paid $37,000 for my Centurion brand new in 2008. The boat is
perfectly fine 17 years later. I could sell it for $30,000 right now. So it really only cost me $7,000. Have only spent about $1,000 on a pump and throttle cable over the years.
I have got my money out of it as we do 3 weeks in Lake Powell each year.
I can't imagine spending $250,000 even with how much I use it. You can buy an amazing used boat for about $60,000.
