Probably a dumb question, but here goes. Why am I always seeing the firemen dumping water a house completely engulfed in
flames? Wouldn't it make more sense to go and protect the areas that these unstoppable fires haven't gotten to yet? Can you do a back burn or something like that like they do for forest fires? That would be a tough thing to swallow for a homeowner though, "sorry we need to burn down your neighborhood to save 100 other neighborhoods." So sad.
