My 1984 Chrysler New Yorker story
Parents bought it when I turned 16. They spent two grand on it in 1994. They bought it from Painters in St George and Painters had a 30 day, 1000 mile warranty on all used cars.

3 weeks after I bought it the engine blew. Timing chain. Painters put a minivan engine in it, but because of how things were situated, they had to put the engine in backwards. Every time I went and got the oil changed after that I always heard, "you know your engine's in backwards?"

After I graduated the ac stopped working. There was a vacuum line that would disconnect itself repeatedly. I found it and would put it back on. I tried everything to try to hold that line in place. Tape, glue, nothing worked.

Sold it that fall for $500. Guy that bought it said I ripped him off. He was a mechanic.

Replaced it with a 1985 Buick Skyhawk
