We all need to know that even the apparently happy and successful people can struggle with things that people don't see or understand. There is a lot going on under the surface. Don't just care for the notably down-trodden. Connect with everyone. Call, drop in for a visit, text, bake some carbs to share, whatever it may be. Connect with someone today.
This particular kid is thankfully okay. He's getting the right help and will come out okay. I hope greater awareness of the reality of mental and emotional challenges helps us catch someone else before it reaches that point.
