I really liked NFL 20 or so years ago. I watched a lot of games. 49ers were my favorite team.
BUT, then life got in the way. 4 kids, callings into the Bishopric (twice ... guess I can't learn), High Council, etc etc etc. Sundays were just impossible... Mondays were always homework... the only time I could find was a few hours on saturday for Cougar Football.
WELL, we're empty nesters now. Kids are gone to college (well mostly, they're back between semesters sometimes), I just got released from my second stint in the Bishopric, and I'm feeling like I have some free time!!
I absolutely LOVED the 12 team college playoff.. lots of games, and I had time to watch them.
SOOOOOO .... I'm ready for NFL playoffs. I've watched a playoff game or two so far in the wildcards.
I think the Chiefs look fun to watch, and rooting for Andy Reid seems great (my BIL and sister know him from their time in Philly and say he is fun!).
BUT is jumping on the Chiefs this year just "bandwagoning" too much? Do I have to be true to my 20 year ago self and go back to the 49ers? Or my childhood self when we lived in Boston and go back to the Patriots!?!?
Is there a different team it would be fun to jump on their bandwagon (seeing Puka last night was of course fun)
