I'm not crazy, you're crazy
Hypoth- how much severance time would you need to leave your job right now. You can't go back afterwards. 3 yrs for me.
Maybe 2. But I like my job and have a great employer.

Can I look for a new job immediately after my severance starts?

Let's assume you have to take the time off. You can look for another job but not start until severance ends.

Wow 3 years! Are you an executive? For most rank and file white collar workers they are lucky to get 3-6 months

Haha it's a hypothetical. Pretend amount of severance time. But for CB sake let's say I'm an executive.

That's crazy? They give you two years no questions asked now and you would turn it down? Even if my job was good

I'm at a late stage startup, so a lot of it would hinge on equity vesting etc.
