stupidly/negligently or with malicious intent. In either instance, it's a huge story and not something from which fans can just "move on." It's shocking - especially because it may have single-handedly cost us a shot at the conference championship game.
This, combined with the leaked video of Tyler Batty's screaming at his teammates during the ASU game halftime to disparage BYU and Batty, is scandalous.
If it was just a matter of Wakely leaving, I could understand the "let's move on" sentiment. It appears that's not what happened here. It's a crazy story of interest - with circumstances so bad that coaches are apparently changing protocols so players do not have the game plan on tablets in the future because of the Wakley trust factor.
So, chastizing CB because fans are interested in how BYU may have missed out on playing in its biggest game in 40 years via off-the-field negligence or intrigue is just plain silly.
