I wasn’t intending to summit. I was going to camp at Lone Pine Lake and then see how high up the trail I could get
the next day without endangering myself or my daughter too much.
The wind made that plan impossible so we scurried down the mountain to the Owens valley and went up to Big Pine Lakes the next day, which was a gorgeous day.
