We have Google fiber and a Nest wifi pro setup. It's usually been pretty good, but recently I've not been able to use the wifi--every time I try to work from home, I have to use my phone as a hotspot to connect. If I'm using our wifi, it takes maybe 10-15 seconds to load a page.
The wifi is always showing full bars. I run tests and they always come up saying speed is good. I contacted Google support and all they had me do was run speed tests and they said everything was fine. They wouldn't help me beyond that.
One or two things that might be affecting it:
Google sent us a new router a few months ago and we installed it. This might be part of the reason but I don't know what else to do with it.
I also have a new computer. But in the past that's never affected connectivity. It does run slower on the wifi than my phone does.
