I'm talking the preseason * media poll * for the conference. Yes, they lose Skattebo, but they still have their QB and were pretty close to beating Texas in the playoffs. That'll put them above BYU, ISU, and KSU who I think will all be voted pretty close to the top spot. CU maybe right behind them depending on who they get to play QB? ASU, BYU, ISU, and KSU will all get first place votes I bet.
Utah will be middle of the pack because people will give them somewhat of the benefit of the doubt since Dampier statistically did some good things at NM. Baylor and TTU will not be far behind the main group near the top, and possibly voted above Utah.
I don't know...just spit ballin'. There will be a logjam near the top of the preseason rankings though because the championship race was so close this year.
The league will be fun to watch again because there's a handful of solid teams and some parity. That's great for entertainment, but maybe not great for the conference since they don't get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to losses. If the teams beat each other, the conference will eat itself alive and damage it's national reputation, right or wrong.
