Either way you should probably be on meds. My LDL was consistently in the mid 120's and was never that concerned since
that is just moderately high. Then I got a calcium scan that came back high for my age and I immediately got on meds to lower my LDL into the 40's. I wish I had done it sooner. But it's also pretty genetic dependent, so you might have high cholesterol and squeaky clean arteries.
