Conventional wisdom is to do 5 Chase cards in 24 months first and then move on.

But there is a case for moving to Venture early. They've gotten to be very picky and reject people who have been opening a lot of Chase cards. Even if they have excellent credit.

That's not true. 5/24 rule applies to almost all cards
