they keep closed and let little to no access to and then just have a bunch of lower end programs they use to fund the ECNL team.
We have multiple state league teams and SCCL teams.
They always pull everyone together at the start of the season and talk about how they plan to use the lower end teams to feed up to the ECNL blah, blah, blah and then no one sees the ECNL players again.
My son as a 7th grader tried out for the H.S. Freshman team and made it. The coach of the ECNL team called us and chewed us out for not sticking with the SCCL team for the spring season. Talked about how we made a huge mistake and that it was going to cost my son playing time and development. However, my son will be the starting goalie on the HS Freshman team. I don't see how being a starter on a higher level team where the current Varsity team is coming off a State Championship and is the favorite to repeat is a bad thing.
And this keeps up from making 4.5 hr RT drives to ATL every week to play a single 1.5 game.
