They also have 53 man rosters with only 48 active for game day. The practice
squad is 16/17 players. So, at most, an NFL team is going to have 70 players while college is set at 105.
If it is important enough for the NFL to have a spot for a snapper from a 48 player pool, I think it'd be just as important to have one at the college level, too.
