The problem was in the 2nd half their guards were hitting their 3 pointers. Doubling Williams would have left
the guard on the perimeter wide open. You could see the indecision from our players trying to decide if they should come down and double and leave the guard wide open for a 3.
In past years Pope would bring the double team in these situations from the back side so the undefended offensive player is on the other side of the lane. It looks like KY wanted to bring the double team from the front side.
