My understanding is that the recruiting sites took a measured action on transfer ratings this year and tried to
match them more closely with how they do HS recruiting. Instead of just giving out a ton of 4-star and 5-star ratings they decided to limit the number of those. And since Akana doesn't have much tape to go off of versus other transfers he was probably put as a mid-80 guy.
