I've never seen this in tech. It would be weird to see an interviewer in a tie.
Even interviewees are more casual than they were 20 years ago. I'm more concerned about them being able to do the job than if they are wearing a coat and tie.

Not a red flag, but of course in my industry I’ve never ever seen an interviewer wear a coat and a tie.
