In Missouri, you have to take the vehicle to Jefferson City to the Highway Patrol headquarters and have them inspect
the vehicle to verify that it's road worthy. Any repairs or parts you purchased have to be documented with receipts. For hail damage, you probably don't have to repair anything as long as the car meets all the required safety standards.
