Already calls to get rid of first round byes in the CFP & go to either 8 or 16 teams, guess who the biggest whiners are?

The first round bye in CFB clearly did not do any favors for teams :

Teams who secured a 1st round bye went 0-4. They were outscored by 58 points (134-86 total)

Taking 4 weeks off is not good for ANY team.

Shrink to 8 or expand to 16 and get rid of 1st round byes.

Definitely an option. I like 16 w/ CCG’s though. Top 4 champs guaranteed home first round

The biggest downside to that is that those teams played an extra game

Maybe. There's also something to not being off too long, as all 1st round teams won against those who got byes.
