For what it's worth, I read in a magazine a few years back that the average fam
family of four spends around $20,000 for a week of skiing in Park City over the holidays (and I have friends who have spent in that range). I don't have the article, but it included:

- flights
- hotel
- car
- meals + drinks (family of four eating out for a week in PC ...)
- lift tickets
- equipment rental
- day or two of lessons
- entertainment

Not to say it can't be done for way less--obviously, it can (stay in Heber or SLC, buy an Epic pass, cook in an Airbnb, etc.). But I grew up skiing in Park City, and it's still where we ski (for a variety of reasons)--lots of people spend a lot of money there int he winter.

Now, the Twitter guy is a joke, just like Vail's handling of PCMR over the holidays. But I get the frustration, and he may not be bluffing about what he spent.
