Last season we were in the top ten in Kenpom/NET at this point and they never
fell out of the top 12 the entire year. At 0-2 there was still a lot of objective evidence suggesting BYU had a good team and would be competitive.
We are 41 in Kenpom/47 in NET right now with zero quality wins. We for sure have the chance to improve — but there was much more reason for optimism last season compared to where we are at this year.
We aren't on track right now and it's isn't being overly pessimistic to admit that.
