Excellent in his first B12 year. KY deserves a mulligan his first year in
college basketball, especially with it being in the B12. He has been coaching pro for many years so he is not a wet-behind-the-ears BB coach. Unlike a lot of CBers who giddily predicted a Sweet 16 appearance this season, I have advocated tapping the brakes and giving KY space to adjust. Just be competitive every game even if BYU ends up in the NIT this year.
