Other than the NIL, I was surprised when I heard Egor was coming to play in the NCAA. If you're a big-time Euro prospect, the NCAA can do nothing but hurt your stock. Defenses pack the paint, and the rules are more restrictive than the pro game. You just can't get away too often with one handed passes or not catching the ball with 2 hands in college. I think NBA scouts are smart enough to know these things and that Egor's stock will remain hIgh. He'll look like a much different player in the wide-open, spread out NBA game.
KY can sell his NBA pedigree all he wants, but whether he wants to or not, he'll eventually adapt into being a college coach.
