I had no desire to see Better Call Saul. I didn’t think it would be terrible, but I thought it would be something of a cheap knock off to Breaking Bad, which I also did not dive into initially. But like most people ended up, loving it.

Friend of mine insisted that he had the same initial impression about Better Call Saul and ended up liking it better than BB. I’m about halfway through the second season now and see the potential in his appraisal. Pretty good so far. Still has a ways to go. What should I expect?
