* Houston very good team with a pretty good shot at winning the Big12 imo, but I honestly thought we’d fare better than we did, even as a middle of the pack team

* they have 5 Richie Saunders (on steroids) on defense at all times

* stifling defense for which our offense simply had zero answers. This makes me nervous tbh.

* essentially outclassed in every facet of the game. Even rebounding was a massive disappointment. 15 Orebs for them!

* too many TOs. While total ended up somewhat close, points off TOs was not. (24-5)

* don’t want to be a Debbie downer but Egor’s draft stock has to be taking a hit lately. He’s got to get better. (Nervous point part II). Was hoping he’d at least mitigate the need for a super quick PG.

* did I mention their defense made us look almost incompetent for most of the game.

* lots of season remaining and we can only get better, right? … Right?
