I was just at Tulum 2 days ago on a cruise stop.
Saw a local guy at the ruins with a BYU hat. I figured he was just a guy who found it randomly, but I asked him anyway. Turns out he is Mayan, but LDS. He gives tours at the ruins with Book of Mormon lens.
Anyway, great area. The cenotes were super cool and fun.
