It was a strange hire for sure.
I don't know who else might have been on the radar. I assume that the AD's office would prefer a woman
to be in charge of WBB. Whether there were any well qualified women out there who would want to come
to BYU I have no idea. I don't remember hearing about any great candidates during the hiring process.
