It’s a lot more than you might think especially for top recruits and SeC money is next level and Oregon is in a class of its own. The 22 million dollar direct payment from schools is coming soon as part of the settlement. 85 scholarships players divided by 22 million is an average of 210K, although I assume some of the 22 million will go to basketball and other sports. But you can still pay nil on top of that so many more players will be in the 500K-1 million range. Basketball will probably go north of 10 million for top players soon. If it stays unregulated it could be pretty crazy money.
