throughout the year and in some of the places that we traveled so we had to get creative a few times, but now we have a fairly large collection. It works well because we don’t have to figure out a way to store or display the collection- they just go with our Christmas decorations and we bring them out once a year and reminisce on the places we were when we bought them. And then after Christmas they go back into storage for the next 11 months.

And our kids now buy their own ornaments when we travel. They love the tradition.
