out in the Country. No Wifi but knew that going in, no cell phone service for AT&T—didn’t know that, Arrived on time and the place was a huge mess. The owner in a van that was a large disaster was just beginning house cleaning at check in time. We came back an hour later and it was barely passable. All dishes and silverware were on the kitchen counter because the drawers were either broken or sealed shut. Evidence of roaches. Bathrooms were also a disaster, broken fixtures, filthy. Furniture was dirty. Bed linens were old and stinky. Rugs in master bedroom covering up holes in the floor, lots mice and you could hear them running around at night in the house. Shelves of expired food— not that we wanted food from the house, but gross, a bad odor throughout. Looked like it had been last decorated about 1959. We lasted 3 of 4 days on our contract and decided we couldn’t put up with the mice or rats any longer and got a hotel. I sent them a private message that they either need to spend a lot of $ for upgrades or get out of the business. I don’t see it listed any longer, thank goodness. The only good thing was the country setting by a river.
