Horrible CFP seeding structure though.
Give the top-4 champs the bye, but the CFP quarterfinal matchups should be made AFTER Round 1 and based on CFP rankings.
#1 should not have to play the #6-ranked team while the #3 gets to play #12 and #4 team gets to play #9.
THAT is the CFP's structural problem.
