That’s an anomaly. It makes me wonder if it is being installed incorrectly or
if there is something wrong with the machining on the engine block causing it not to seal properly.

Gasket quality issue? Also, no aftermarket coolant correct? The wrong coolant can damage the water pump gasket

It’s been done by 2 different companies so far 3 different times.

Maybe it’s something that should be recalled. The water pump that is.
