you're misunderstanding or working off some wrong information. Big 10 controls
TV just for Big 10 home games. So that effects just 3 of BYU's opponents for this year (Ohio St., UCLA, USC). But USC is at BYU this season. so no effect there, byu tv will show the USC games.

For other MPSF teams (GCU, Pepperdine, other no-name MPSF newbies) Big 10 doesn't control those.

However, every home team can make any media deal that they want. So for example when BYU plays at Concordia UC Irvine, they can make a media deal with whoever they want and we as fans are subject to that. That's how the free market works.

Games at GCU this year are already scheduled for ESPN+ (see BYU schedule), because Big ten has no control over GCU.
