Many states ban unions for public employees, so it won’t work in a lot of places
Texas and Georgia only allow police and firefighters. NC and South Carolina ban them outright.
Michigan, Tennessee, Wisconsin have curbed the right of public sector employees to bargain significantly and DeSantis has been working to end it in Florida. Lots of big schools wouldn’t be able to have any sort of a CBA.
