B1Gs school/alumni size and its coverage of major population viewership

SECs footprint of football culture and that region’s outsized production of elite football athletes (especially the states bordering the Gulf of Mexico).

I absolutely hope that our team and conference pursues every reasonable avenue towards competitiveness. But it would be foolish to chase the mirage of pulling even with the current P2 with an expanded but diluted version of what they’ve already done.
