Kids from ASU recruiting pool by lying about what a great party school with easy classes Utah is.
Then, they'd steal from Colorado's pool lying about what a great coach Whittingham is.
Then they'd steal from BYU recruiting lying about the huge disparity in money and how Utah is just as spiritual and focused as BYU.
Then they'd steal from Boise saying they'd have a better shot at a playoff with UofU.
Now, ASU is relevant and partying hard with their coach; Colorado has arguable the most hyped coach in the nation and takes their players to strip clubs; BYU has more $$$ and wins; and Boise has been in the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Utah has massive belt-tightening, an over-inflated sense of self, the worst fan base in America, the pens and spins of local media, a conference they despise (and the feeling is mutual), and no foreseeable change to their situation. At least until Whitt retires.
But, to be fair, it's nice to know there is a place for football players to go to get a few bucks as they fade into obscurity. The UofU pigskin retirement plan.
