Jaren's clearly a more accurate passer AND a more sure-footed passer — which left no mystery behind his cleaner numbers & fewer TOs than Jake. But the more impromtu-style QB who's much more likely to get past his 2nd progression on a given play — THAT guy's often times a very effective QB, despite the enemies he might make among the statisticians. It's often the same with volume shooters & scorers in basketball. Some guys keep you in games even when their numbers suck.
It's a lot about putting pressure on a D (which leads to opening things up).
