for anything I purchase. I couldn't care less what an influencer recommends, they know less than I do about a product I'm researching.
So, if I'm on a company website and ready to purchase in their own checkout and Honey finds me a coupon code that works, I'm very happy. Honey would have to have gotten that code from the company itself at that point. This just happened last week, Duluth was having a great sale on men's jackets, 50% off. The jacket I wanted was $45 on sale. At the checkout Honey popped up and offered to check for coupons, it found an additional 20% off that worked. I happily bought that jacket at close to 70% off, and to get free shipping I bought another smaller one for my wife.
Seems the lesson here is don't click on affiliate links. That all being said, they shouldn't be doing what they're doing to the affiliates, but I'm not a party to that mess.
