Look, Ohio State was way way better than 8th. So yeah, they were way misranked.

Georgia was really overranked. They lost a bunch of games and were losing to Texas.... They were not the second best team.

Notre Dame was probably under ranked too.

The problem I think is that the conferences are too big so the conference standings/ pecking order are messed up.

Abd then the committee compounded the mistake by sticking with that order in their rankings. That messed everything up...
