Alabama has been doing most of the SEC heavy lifting, and they were overdue to cycle off the perch. Throw in that Saban retired, and well, they cycled down to just a top 20 season.
UGA just won two straight titles. I mean, did they really have to win a 3rd straight after losing their starting QB in the CCG to prove they're still for real right now?
But the yearly player turnover/chaos that NIL causes is going to make it hard to maintain a dynasty. Even if you're still hogging a ton of talent, like UGA still is, there's still the need to manage that chaos and having all those new players meld together to form a great team.
