FWIW (hint: nothing)
When I was the sales manager for one of the divisions at GS, I designed and sold these steel castings. This had 6" thick wall with large trunions. Each one weighed approximately 65,000 pounds.

They were used by steel mills around the world to remove the slag from each batch (called a heat - that was roughly 500,000 pounds of molten steel each batch - produced every 24 minutes).

Anyhow, these were my products. This particular one was slated to go to AK Steel in Middletown, OH (IIRC).
