1. Our defense looked really, really good. They said they had been working on it and it showed. Defense won us that game and we won easily. If BYU can play defense like that we will win a lot of games in conference. ASU is not the best team in conference, but they looked rudderless in that game.

2. This is the first game where I thought it was obvious we were much better with Keita on the floor than Fouss. I'm not saying this to bag on Fouss who has been really good and had a little bit of an off day. But clearly the length bothered him and he struggle a bit on the defensive glass which is something we can't have. Keita looked like the best big on the floor gobbling up rebounds and affecting shots. I think overall this is a positive. Most of the Big 12 teams are going to have length. It didn't bother Keita really at all and in fact he thrived by using his athleticism to out-quick their bigs. We have seen what Fouss can do against good bigs and I am not worried. He just needs to do a better job boxing out on defense.
