And yes...opinions can be and often are wrong. Including the officials who made the factually incorrect call in the game yesterday. Officials who get paid for a living to diagnose an obvious play, but do so incorrectly have no business being officials. Especially at this level. It's incompetence. And the whole "you shouldn't call it at that point in the game" is the worst argument in the history of mankind.
If you shouldn't call it then, then don't call it any at point ever. In fact, just don't have the rule if that's going to be the irrational rationalization.
