I'm very glad that ASU made the game close. I thought initially it was going to be a rout after Texas scored 1st 2 times they had the ball.
I think it sucks that the game is in Texas's backyard, but that's always a possibility.
In total honesty, I was watching the OSU/Oregon game last night and I said to my wife I don't know how so many fans can afford these new playoffs. To have bought the 1st round ticket for a home game in Columbus wasn't so bad, but now to fly to Pasadena and then to Arlington--wow. I just can't imagine having the spare time available and money to do that amount of traveling at the last moment. I just can't imagine what it would be like also to have been a fan of one of the teams in the Sugar Bowl and have the game put off for one day due to the terrorist thing in New Orleans. This is stuff a typical fan can't just readily afford. If tOSU beats Texas, then they have yet another out of town game. That all would cost a fortune.
