Both WS/48 and BPM are flawed. BPM is especially flawed on the defensive side of the ball and Jokic absolutely cleans up in that star defensively. It thinks Jokic was the best defensive player in the game each of the last 3 years. I will listen to arguments that he’s better than he gets credit for, but he’s not the best defensive player in the game…not even close.

I also don’t like that BPM credits positions differently…Jokic shouldn’t get more credit for assists because he’s a center. Maybe that made more sense in a different era, but it doesn’t in today’s game.
