Any advice?

I wonder if I'm an outlier on cougarboard. Probably not. I was in the church, had a family, left the church, lost my marriage, came back to the church(ish), and became best friends with my ex-wife who, by this time, has remarried (we're very supportive of each other).

I dated around a lot, then, for four years dated much younger woman who was a total baddie. Of course, she had zero life infrastructure or goals or whatever, so it wasn't sustainable. We broke up last August. Now I'm 45, own my own everything, have older kids who adore me, my body and money and everything is on point, and most of all, I'm ready to get married.

Here are some questions:

1. Anyone else in this situation?

2. What would you do if you were?

3. The Church dating scene, especially at my age, seems like the island of misfit toys. No offense, but everyone seems . . . off(?) Maybe they'd say the same about me! But I've never found any remotely attractive female in that scene. Thoughts?

4. Mutual is okay, but the woman are spread out. I can't date a mom of 3 in Nashville, even if she does look like a B-version of Carrie Underwood. (I'm in Vegas). Thoughts?

5. I get "set up" but it is often that situation like on The Office where Phyllis tries to set Michael up with her friend. Michael asks her if the friend can fit in a rowboat and Phyllis is eventually forced to admit that she cannot. : ( Not trying to be mean or shallow, but of course the physical attraction has to be there.

In this town, it is easy to find young women who will date a man with status, but that is not the solution it might look like from the outside. I want the next woman I know (in the Biblical sense) to be the last woman I know. Pray me up a HCBW. Thanks if you got any inspiration on this.
