So I get that there is a general reluctance to go on the road and that it would take work, but with BYU being in a P4 conference now its just not realistic that BYU couldn't get better non-conference games if that's what they are after. There are just too many teams (even against mid-majors which can be Q1 games) that also need some non-conf strength who are looking that we can just chalk it up to impossibility. Its a conscious scheduling choice that Pope made and that KY mostly inherited for this season.
I hope KY changes the paradigm, and with first announced game for next season (Villanova) it looks like KY will be more aggressive.
