I disagree with him having zero confidence in his shot.
I don't think he feels like he needs to score 20/night to consider it a successful game. He's more facilitator than he is scorer, although he has the tools to be a great scorer too. He's hitting 47% from the field.
I think in the Providence game, he was playing hurt. Against ASU, he was just back from a long break because of injury and holiday.
He'll be fine.
