I was at that game. Providence had been on the road and lost 3 in a row at a tourney. They were mad, and it was clear
their game plan was to pound on us physically to see if the refs would step in to force them to back off. They got away with it early, so they continued to push the boundaries. They were even beating us up far away from the ball, and it obviously got our guys out of rythmn.

Them being unconscious from 3 land got things in fever pitch mode.

It seemed their coaches watched the Duquesne game in NCAA and used the same approach..it worked, darn it.
